Rebranding the Roanoke City Market Building was personal for me. As a hometown project, it gave me the chance to honor a beloved 100-year-old city landmark while reimagining its digital presence. We redesigned the website to serve as both a marketing hub and information center, highlighting vendors, the newly branded Charter Hall event space, and the Market Building’s historical roots. In its first seven months, the site drew over 70,000 visits, helping attract new vendors and boost foot traffic. The work’s storytelling, accessibility, and vibrancy earned Eddy Alexander a PRSA Silver Award, but the real win was seeing the Market Building reclaim its place as the undisputed center of the city’s outdoorsy, community-driven life.
